$100,000.00 reward missing child


Amber is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds with medium-length brown hair and blue eyes.

Where do people pull 100k out of their ass for a reward? Or do they just say that then nitpick about the details they received not leading to an arrest and not pay anyone?

Yeah, $100K... You don't pull out such an amount out of your ass every day.

I don't know, you might sell your house or something if you are really serious about finding a lost person.

I am assuming that the people offering the reward are her parents. I am not a parent but if I had a child that went missing I would offer anything I could to get my child back. Even if it meant selling my house. You can earn more money but you can't replace a life.


But then again when you ASSUME you make an ASS out of U and ME

a child is estimated to cost apprx $1 million to raise for middle class american.
i bet most parents would have no problems putting up the house to get their daughter home.

the irony of the city name, Escondido means hidden in portuguese

Why wouldn't someone have $100K in the bank to begin with?
That's like the OC area'ish... they probably have $100K in the bank.
Its $50K anyways to find her, and $50K if someone gets convicted.

So chances are it'll only be $50K

If you look at the site they're accepting donations to a trust account. I presume that's where some of the reward would come from.
