For the most part my Xmas season is done once I drop the kid off with his mom tomorrow. This will be the 1st Xmas in 11 yrs that he's not with me, so I think I will take advantage of the quiet house and get some work done.

I work part of the day on xmas. The rest of the day I'm gone to see family. Of course, if I get home and it's not to late I will work some more.

I work every day. Even if I just check on my servers or load stats, that's business related so it counts.

Kid will be with her mom for Christmas, I have her on new years Eve soooo I'll be working

I would, but i cant get girls booked. Trying to get a booking for tomorrow but no decent girls want to work. Then again, I like working and i love what i do. I may not be shooting tomorrow and Xmas, but i will be working on something to further my goals. I got goals to meet.

I've worked a couple Christmas but come April tax time you realize.. take the time off and watch a friggin movie or something. It isn't going to make much diff. Let's face it, you should not have to work from now until the morning of the 26th.

There isn't much that can be doine in 1-2 days in this biz that is going to make or break you.

But easier said than done.

I don't specifically have a "no working on xmas day" policy but with the time I'll be spending with the family I doubt I'll be near a computer anywhere between 8am-10pm

Girlfriend has to work 7:00am-3:30pm tomorrow at the hospital so I'll be hanging around here doing some work, possibly cooking and relaxing until the family gets here and she gets off work. :)

Yes, sometimes I do.

I'm sure I will end up doing something. Hanging out with family during the day then with friends in the evening. But most of them end up in bed around 11pm to midnight. I don't go to bed until about 3am normally so I'm sure I will jump on and knock out a few hours of work late.

Taking toys out of their boxes and putting them together is enough work for me today.

I'm about to go and setup my new HTPC right now.

It's just another day to me. Personally I like working holidays because everything is closed, what else are you going to do?

Just a few updates here and there

We had Christmas last night, have always had Christmas on Christmas Eve due to always going to my grandma's for Christmas on Christmas day, but she died 7 years ago, we haven't gone, but still always did it on Christmas Eve, I stayed up all night lastnight playing MW2 with some friends and just woke up 2 hours ago. Will probably play some more MW2 then do some work tonight.

Have Christmas with my sisters tomorrow, can't wait to see the look on my nieces and nephews faces when they see what I got them.

We did similar with a large turkey meal with our family and then we filmed a shoot at about 11ish last night, christmas eve.
Today its been another christmas meal with duck, and im here now at midnight, about to cut and edit the scene from last night.

I just got home about an hour ago and I'm working away until a friend gets in town.. He's heading up from Fort Hood - just got back stateside from Iraq serving with the 7th Cav :) Beers will be had this evening, I'm afraid.
