That was easier than expected.
 

Background: My daughter works for the DCFS and this Christmas Eve just like every other Christmas Eve since she started, she has had to take a kid from their parents. Kind of a tradition it seems.

Last night we were talking ab out the passing of her grandmother and how she was going to have to place this kid today. We got on the topic of donations and how much they sucked this year due to the lousy economy.

We ended our conversation with me telling her that if she has a family that need a little help, let me know and I would cover it. She assured me she would contact me in the morning.

Well, she called me to let me know that she had a family for me. Seven kids! Ages 1 to 12! I could see this was going to be a fun way to spend Christmas Eve.

Turned out it was a piece of cake. Has been a long time since I did the Christmas Eve dash, I may have to make it a new tradition.
