New TSA "Rules" about to go into effect...

“during the final hour of flight customers must remain seated, will not be allowed to access carry-on baggage, or have personal belongings or other items on their laps.”

The stewardess has to suck you off and swallow, which maybe will lead to a new niche. Pray that it won´t be a male flight attendant.

L-Pink 12-26-2009 11:51 AM

Just how does that do anything except make a terrorist push the button a little earlier?

And if you had the choice of sitting in a coach seat cramped by the fat guy next to you smelling the guy from India in front of you, listening to the kid cry across the aisle or fucking 79 virgins I'd punch the button as soon as we took off anyway.

For every measure, there is a counter measure. Sounds like more "Feel Good" security which only inconveniences average folks.

:(

Trax 12-26-2009 12:01 PM

All of these laws do nothing but hurt citizens in the name of protecting us from terrorists. Back when 9/11 occurred, Bush stood before the American people and pleaded with its citizens to carry on about their daily lives and doing anything other than would signal to terrorists that they have achieved victory. Then comes a bunch of bull shit laws that enabled the government to act just like the Russians during the Cold War. So liberties are sacrificed in the name of protection yet we still have the audacity to call ourselves a free country. Thank God Im moving to Amsterdam. Have they ever been in a war?

No but their airport is the airport who didn't rescreen this alleged terrorist.
And is an airport that is used a lot by people flying in and our of Africa, Yemen, and a lot of countries that don't like us.

SBJ 12-26-2009 01:19 PM

yeah this sucks! I'm flying out on the 30th and I'm just glad my flight is first thing in the morning so security might not be so backed up.. :(

I am hoping this is an International thing. goodgirl flies out in a couple weeks and I was planning on flying back with her. I was going to wait to see how much of a hassle it is for her before booking my flight, but if you report back, that will suffice.

BTW, noticed you had IN as one of your locations. What part?

Ya Going to Tempe, AZ over New Years for a week and I'll try to remember to post if I get a anal probe with new security going or coming. I'd rather not say where I am cause of a stalker problem lol but I grew up in a city between Fort Wayne and South Bend Indiana..

Juicy D. Links 12-26-2009 01:42 PM

El Al has the best security , if anybody has been on that airline they know how good there security is

Spudstr 12-26-2009 02:01 PM

David! 12-26-2009 02:08 PM

Correct.

If someone is willing to trade their life for yours, they have already won. They will go the distance, and there is more than enough chances to get you. There is not amount of security or feel good steps that is going to stop them, nor find them all before they get on a plane.

If it's your time to go, sit back relax and enjoy.

Flying in 12 hours from amsterdam - to San Francisco on our way to vegas.
I don't need firecrackers, i have eaten so much, if i fart it will be dangerous.

But we are lucky it was a retard. i can understand they want people to be seated.
If the terrorist had gone to the toilet, nobody could stop him.
But nothing can stop a smarter bomber.

On Schiphol Amsterdam a undercover journalist could get to the plane of our queen and government, without any questions and put a fake bomb in it. That was 12 months ago and he did the same thing a couple of months later for the second time.

The Heron 12-26-2009 05:00 PM

Anyone that's flown knows how hard it is for the flight crew to get people to sit down normally (for turbulence, landing, etc). I kinda doubt they'll have more luck making people sit for an hour before landing!
Flew aer lingus and the flight attendant shit a brick when a russian kid filmed their safety speech, made him delete it and told everyone it was illegal to film them anytime... that was a new one for me.

Rangermoore 12-26-2009 05:07 PM

Says nothing on the TSA website about any of this...

I have a friend that works on the West Bank for UN and he gets shit every time he passes in or out of Israel, they always try to give him a low number so he will get the big check but they are not allowed to do it so every time he has to tell them that they are not allowed and after that he gets a 5 which means he can pass through with no problems.
