National Net Rocks
I have had 3 days of total frustration with my ISP (Road Runner-Time Warner Cable)
for whatever "technical" reason I could not get to my servers at NatNet thru my "Business Class" service with TW I advanced through 3 layers of customer support at Road Runner, and each one said they had "no issues" yet I kept giving them traceroutes showing massive packet losses and non-connectivity issues. Got the usual "your router is defective, your modem is out-dated, etc.....) Today (Sunday), I asked NatNet to inquire on my behalf......(i am just a little guy when it comes to bandwidth and hosting costs) They spent over 5 hours trying to fix my problem, with roadrunner inoc and tech people (who kept denying anything was wrong)......problem was identified and solved, thanks to Brad at NatNet, I can finally reach my sites. National Net went above and beyond the "call of duty" to help me, and i felt I should recognize this to the community. That is why I have hosted there since their inception. |
natnet rocks but everybody knows already

I had the same exact issue and after getting the same runaround with RR as you did, i found out NAT NET was on the case and knew it would be fixed. I was having issues connecting to Mojo Host sites as well.
There was actually talk about this on some mainstream forums as well. Road Runner did something strange that messed up a lot of people. |
Kudos to sweet t`s troops.

yep national net is always on the ball. I was looking through my staff's daily reports over the weekend and noticed that national net had identified a problem with one of our servers, informed my developer and fixed the problem in under an hour..
Always good when a problem is sorted out without causing me any drama..... |
