Dear Tony (Sweet T.) and Santa and Elves... (PICS)

Tony, your kindness and caring is beyond expression. Though I wrote you personally, I wanted to share and express to the community my appreciation for you. As mentioned, my daughter asked me if I still believe in Santa... I told her that I believe in anyone who expresses any kind of goodness and kindness. She said she wants to believe.

When she saw the mound of presents she was speechless (a first). I told her my friend at work (you) knows Santa well and that you thought she might appreciate a special Christmas (Hanukahmas) this year so you shipped her presents from Santa. (Since you are 'Santa' and you know yourself well, I told the truth, albeit a colorful one.)

She experienced first hand the goodness and kindness by someone who had never met her and that I know has made a lasting impression on my daughter who is a very old soul. She got one more year of believing in Santa because of you. I know she will forever believe that there are people out there who care, like you. I pray she will forget this year's memories of hardship, but I know for certain she will never forget this holiday. Nor will I. My deepest gratitude, Lori xo

And this is her thank you to you...

Lori,

I'm glad Sweet T and a few others were able to make this Xmas a special one for you and your daughter, I myself couldn't imagine having to explain to my son the reasons why I have no money.

While we have never met in person, you have on occasion helped me out with advice and even a friendly point in the right direction. Tho those opportunities never worked out for me, they did lead to other things. You did what you could and I thank you for that.

As I get older I am becoming a true believer in Karma and the pay it forward way of thinking... while I myself am in no position to help you at this time, perhaps one of those simple emails you sent me, or meetings you set up for me made its way back around to pay you back.

Keep your head high, with all the scams and dirty players in our biz, there are enough honest, hard working people around to make it worth while, Trust in those who trust in you and you will always come out ahead.

May 2010 be the best year yet for you and your daughter.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Lori. Although we haven't always seen eye to eye on things. I have to say the way you came out with your situation, and the way you handled it all took balls. I respect that.

One thing I've learned in life is troubles come troubles go. As T said in your original thread. Keep your head up focus on what's important and everything else will fall into place. No truer words have I ever heard.

T once again brother you seem to amaze with your generosity. Just when you look for something to dislike about you. You go ahead and do something as kind, and unselfish like provide happiness for some one else in times of need. Happy to be a client, proud to be a friend!

Lori, I'm so happy your daughter wakes, eats and breathes knowing she is blessed! What better Hanukahmas gift can we ask for?

Tony truly never fails to impress. And I suspect 90% of the good he does is never made public.

For those of you who think being successful means you've reached the part in your life when you can crap on those who aren't as successful, Tony is an example of how to treat EVERYONE, not just those you consider your "equals". From the girl taking his coat, to the guy driving him around to the CEO, Tony is gracious and generous to everyone. I've met a lot of T's family and can tell you he was raised right - but not everyone learns the lessons as well as he has.

And Lori, you did a good job to show your daughter great appreciation and my Southern Mother would be impressed she wrote "Thank you" notes :)

SweetT 12-30-2009 02:44 PM

Hey Lori...

Sorry I am just now getting to read this thread and the email that you sent...you will understand why as you read this post, but if anyone doesn't believe in "Karma" or "Pay it Forward" or whatever you want to call it then this should open your eyes.

Literally, as my girlfriend was wrapping those presents and dropping them at Fedex I got a call from an old friend that I have not seen for almost a year because we have both been super busy...he invited me to join him on a 120' Private Yacht, all expense paid cruise around the Bahamas to celebrate New Year's. This charter is more than $100,000 for the week and I am not having to pitch in a cent. This trip is EXACTLY what I needed after a long year of building our new data center....I have not seen a single DJ, no VIP hosts, no bottle service, just crystal clear blue waters and sporadic internet service at best. It has been a GREAT trip for me. I firmly believe that this is a direct result of me helping another human when given the chance.

I hope that Faith had a terrific Christmas and I hope that 2010 is your best year ever!!

Thank you lady - as per my post in other thread - I thank you for your reflection of generosity as well. And Jacque, Shemp, Charlie - each of you, as Tony, have shown my daughter true life experiences on the opposite side of the spectrum of experiences this year. As have all the posts of support and encouragement in which I have shared with her as well.

All who posted, taught her to see the spectrum of life and people too -

I am appreciative.

Wishing you a New Year as wonderful as you.
Love,
Lori

Tony,

I'm soooooooooooo happy to hear this!!! I started jumping up and down when I read it and was thanking G-d for you getting such an amazing gift!

Truly brings a big smile to my face and re-instills my faith all the more!

Faith had a holiday she will never forget, in all ways good (me too) and I can't wait to tell her about your gift trip. She will see another beautiful example of living from the heart and that level of energy.

After all your hard work and building the best company you can to best serve others and of course being the person you are, I am not surprised you were graced with such a lovely vacation!

I have a feeling this is an example of a wonderful New Year unlike any other.

Thank you so much again and your girlfriend for gifting us (I hope she saw the Thank You Elves letter from Faith-her arms must have been tired from wrapping all those presents!) :) Tony, it brings me much happiness to hear what you were given.

Enjoy every minute!

xo,
Lori
