I'll bump this in less than a couple months on my new iphone :winkwink:

xenigo 12-30-2009 03:00 AM

Yay, and now the Verizon wireless spectrum will be brought to it's knees by data intensive over saturation just like AT&T's, and everyone will have shitty service yet again. Awesome.

But Verizon's profits will be through the roof...

DebsDeep 12-30-2009 05:59 AM

We are working on our mobile sites now!!!

NetHorse 12-30-2009 06:30 AM

The new IPhone 6G is coming out on Apples new cellphone service, it's only $3.95 a month for unlimited minutes/texts/data and it comes with a free prostitute. Source? Err, trust me it's true.

Fletch XXX 12-30-2009 06:36 AM

the reason i dont own an iphone is because of the ATT exclusivity.

If i cant buy it and go with who I want I dont want it.

stephane76 12-30-2009 06:49 AM

i wish that was true

The rumors of the Apple iPhone going to Verizon never seems to go away, as we enter 2010 these constant discussions online will only intensify as AT&T are due to lose their exclusivity. Verizon has been working hard on improving its network to handle the demands of the extra load that the iPhone will bring.
AT&T recently said that the iPhone is not going anywhere and that they will be able to fully support a 4G version. Unlike Verizon, as they will not be 4G ready for another 1-2 year. Both Apple and Verizon have held talks in the past, but neither could agree on the terms.
We know that Verizon is the preferred network carrier in the U.S., but they would rather push their own V Cast app store rather than Apple?s. All the time that Verizon makes demands like that they have no hope of getting the iPhone. This is a hard choice to make, the customers will want the better Verizon network but would much rather stick with Apple?s App Store.
Information Week has a great theory; they believe that T-Mobile stands more of a chance getting the iPhone before Verizon. The reason is because they will be more willing to meet with Apple?s demands, however this is just speculation and AT&T could keep hold of the exclusivity agreement for another year.
If you had the choice, which network would you like to see the iPhone on?

Fletch XXX 12-30-2009 06:56 AM

"they believe that T-Mobile stands more of a chance getting the iPhone before Verizon."

exactly and when it does Ill be on Tmobile waiting LOL

kristin 12-30-2009 07:13 AM

"they believe that T-Mobile stands more of a chance getting the iPhone before Verizon."

The reason I agree with this is because T-Mobile uses the SIMS cards whereas Verizon does not. It's an easier transition to T-Mobile because of this (customer wise that is).

CaroMark 12-30-2009 07:21 AM

LOL to late for many as I know quite a few that fled AT&T and their iphones with the availability of the new droids.

Babaganoosh 12-30-2009 07:28 AM

Verizon has the Droid. They don't need the iphone at all.

FreeHugeMovies 12-30-2009 07:29 AM

I have a buddy who is very high up at Verizon. A quote "We won't have that phone on our network."

candyflip 12-30-2009 07:31 AM

Verizon is CDMA and the iphone/ATT are GSM.

I'd put my money on TMobile as well.

I'd rather have the new Nexus One from HTC/Google.

UniqueD 12-30-2009 08:41 AM

why do these threads keep popping up, its not happening, at least not in 'a couple months'

Summer of 2010, the way time is flying, it'll only feel like a couple of months. :)

With that information, you should be buying Verizon stock now. :thumbsup

billywatson 12-30-2009 09:30 AM

I have the best of both worlds: my porno/biz number is a Verizon phone, and my personal number is iPhone. Works well.

I'd put my money on TMobile as well.

This version is designed for the Verizon network.

Do you ever leave the house?:1orglaugh

DateDoc 01-12-2010 06:14 PM

I doubt it will happen in a couple of months as AT&T has an exclusive that ends sometime between June & December (no one but apple and AT&T know when). Apple will probably wait until Qualcomm has its new chip that is both CDMA & GSM compatible which will be towards the end of this year making a Verizon iPhone available in 2011.

Mr. E 01-12-2010 07:12 PM

Android phones like HTC's Hero and even the Palm Pre and new Pixi own the iphone in everything but thousands of useless apps you will never want or need. iphone is sooooo 2006 :) Oh, and its never going to Verizon either.

pamon 01-12-2010 10:09 PM

Verizon won't get it due to it being a CDMA network and Tmobile dioesnt have the network to support it, verizon won't do it because they aren't making enough per phone in subsidy. Apple will renew with AT&T and vz will miss again. Leave the us and a vz branded iPhone won't do crap for you.

Some are cool and useful but lets be honest, most are crap you will never need or want.

Jensen 01-13-2010 03:55 AM

Hmm so you can't buy a freakin iphone over there and use it on whatever network you want?
