What to Fix?
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to ask everyone here what they think I should fix on my site www.premiumteencams.com ? (Note: Still a newbie) |
use the wordpress image gallery tool to stretch/arrange your post thumbnails so they dont look so messy
move your tags up in the sidebar so users can browse your blog easier |
My main gripe is the white space in the recent articles.
It would be better to have all 3 images per post - in line. This makes the content far easier to read by the human eye. You've already made them in line older posts... but try centering the image content as well. It might be tricky if you're working with RSS feeds. But you can target elements using DOM manipulation. Oh.. and Happy New Year! ;-) |
Agreed on the white space, I much prefer the old posts with 3 smaller thumbs in a line. I'd keep doing that, but put text / images / text, it'll just look nicer. Fill more of the sidebar with something too, anything will do, widgets, "featured galleries", special offers, more link trades, Best cam girls, etc etc.
I don't know if it's just me, but I'd prefer to see the menu at the top ordered as "Home / Galleries / About". Also, your post on the 25th Dec has a link which is invalid http:/http. Good luck with the site, and Happy New Year ;) |
Yes, I totally agree - the natural order of the top menu should be Home > Galleries > About.
|
I think the blog looks good. The next step is to get more posts and start trading. You good also consider buying some hardlinks to get your PR up. I would also promote more than just one webcam sponsor..
Just my 2cts |
Thanks everyone,
I've fixed some of the issues you brought up, such as the white space due to the photos. And also the order of the menu. I've also already started trading but still need to implement a trading script to keep track of them. |
looks a lot better :thumbsup
|
Looking good. But the spacing still needs a little attention.
If you apply the below to your CSS, you should see 5px padding on images within the div element 'postcontent'. Something like, "div.post-content img {padding:5px !Important;}" Apply it to style.css and you'll see it looks much neater ;-) |
Nice... I see you applied the style ;-)
|
Yea looking great now, that 3rd Jan post especially :thumbsup
Now get posting, and good luck! |
Thanks guys. Took me a while to really get into it. (as you can see from when I joined) But I'm dedicated now.

Here's what I'd do next;
1) Get some link trades and partners by posting in the gallery trades section here at gfy. 2) Get a few more sponsors so there is some variation in your content, how it looks, and what visitors see when they click it. 3) Post some "own content" or embedded movies so you can dump links to your videos around the web, and you aren't 100% affiliate content. This will also give better places for webmasters to send traffic if they want to plug your site on theirs. :2 cents: |
