Epassporte ATM fee increase

Dear Account Holder,

Please be advised that, effective immediately, the fee to withdraw funds at an ATM has been raised from US $2.00 per transaction to US $3.00 per transaction.

Thank you for using ePassporte.

pimpware 01-04-2010 05:13 AM

What are they asking for ?

Now if I need to get $100, for the same fee I'll withdraw $300 or more :321GFY

xsabn 01-04-2010 05:15 AM

that's a good approach... take some of that interest they get to play with too at the same time.. still wouldnt have much bearing unless everyone did it though..

Les Grossman 01-04-2010 06:09 AM

That's fucked up. I'm out.

Fuck epass.

;-)

Nicky 01-04-2010 06:14 AM

CaptainHowdy 01-04-2010 06:17 AM

Outrageous :/ :P!

Fletch XXX 01-04-2010 06:17 AM

i take out 300 everytime I pull money out epass or PP, never just take out $20

seeandsee 01-04-2010 06:47 AM

they use small outs for profit :)

bbobby86 01-04-2010 07:13 AM

know that...

elmy 01-04-2010 07:40 AM

yeah it's $3 now ....

Michael O 01-04-2010 07:41 AM

Yes the ATM fee have increased from $2 to $3.
In the 4+ years I've been with ePassporte ACH and Electron withdrawal fee have increased $1 and p2p fee have increased $.05

Jarmusch 01-04-2010 07:46 AM

They could have sent a notice email to all account holders about this change.

Displaying the message only when you login is a bit sneaky

The Duck 01-04-2010 07:50 AM

Nothing to worry about.

fuzebox 01-04-2010 07:51 AM

That still makes them the cheapest debit card I have.

Epass is not the same as your local american bank people.

Juicy D. Links 01-04-2010 08:26 AM

I can live with that

pornguy 01-04-2010 08:45 AM

I got the mail.. not that big of an issue

PPjohn 01-04-2010 10:22 AM

I like epassporte

96ukssob 01-04-2010 10:27 AM

if you dont like it then withdrawal the money into your checking account.

i found one bank around that did not charge a fee to take out money, was really nice because the rest would charge between $2 and $3... ironically the bank went out of business about a month ago :disgust

The fee is included in the amount charged for the transaction, there is no separate entry on the statement for the fee.

Obviously they have no control over what the ATM charges in addition, just like every other debit card issuer.

V_RocKs 01-04-2010 01:06 PM

Nice... This is why having a large withdrawal limit is essential.

bdld 01-04-2010 01:18 PM

that's too bad. if you withdraw weekly it's an extra $50/yr

djroof 01-04-2010 01:35 PM

I saw it today...

MrBottomTooth 01-04-2010 01:40 PM

Death by 1000 cuts.

papill0n 01-04-2010 01:49 PM

you can read too huh

digifan 01-04-2010 01:51 PM

I can live with that.

czarina 01-04-2010 01:51 PM

a dollar may not seem like much to most of us here, but there are small webmasters that make 1 or 2 sales a month and that extra dollar hurts them

Tjeezers 01-04-2010 01:52 PM

Ohhh

Well... a extra buck does not hurt so much does it?
If the dollar goes a little stronger this year, you`ll be making up the difference in no time.
