Do hosts in UK care about DMCA?
 

I dont have to send out many DMCA but I do a few a year at least, and am typing up one right now.

The host I am sending it to is http://hqhost.net/en/index.html and their addy is 16/5 WEST PILTON RISE EDINBURGH EH4 4UQ, UK

You think they will even bother to read it or abide by my request to remove infringing material?

how you find that info? The whois points to the above host.

Sent the DMCA so I will post what happens.

Both the addresses on the site look to be 'serviced offices' or 'mail-drop' addresses.

Look at streetmap and I'll bet you that the Edinburgh address is local authority housing, or ex-local authority housing at very best :)

It looks like council houses so that address either doesent exist or they are using somebodys private/council house address

Both addresses exist. They both have multiple companies registered to them as well.

Kind of the same as what a lot of the US/Canadian porn and gaming companies do with registered UK addresses for billing purposes, only this is on a smaller budget by the looks of it :)

Yeah I wrote that wrong what it was meant to say is if the reseller is doing from his council house from that address in Scotland he most prob wont even reply back or he has used somebody elses address which does exist but its not his own address
