revshare - a few questions.....
 

i dont promote many rev-share programs anymore, but i was wondering...

how are most rev-share programs doing the fee's these days. splitting the cost of the processing with the affiliate or paying it entirely out of their share?

As an affiliate, if they spli tit with you, is that something that would make you avoid promoting that program?

do the programs the split it with you tend to be the 70%+ programs or does it span the whole range?

Read the Terms of the program(s) it should be stated inthere. Or if it's CCBill based I believe it's stated in the aff admin. For us we pay the processing fee, so if you're looking for one to promote give us a try :) http://iamateurs.net

youd be amazed at how many programs dont state one way or the other in their terms. just say stuff like "70% of monies earned" and "60% of profit" etc.

ccbill programs do disclose this to the affiliate, which is nice.

It is still all over the map... There are places that pay 60-70%, but after fees plus they have cross sales. No real standard, and most companies don't specify anyway. I promote one that is 50% after fees so more like 40% of gross. I promote some others that are 60% before fees... Funny how the payouts will vary from $12.50 to $20 on the same $29.95 membership.
