XBIZ NEWS: Apple Tablet Reportedly Shipping in March

CUPERTINO, Calif. ? Apple?s new 10- or 11-inch touch-screen tablet computer will begin shipping in March. The touch-screen video display with wireless access will sell for about $1,000, according to industry observers.

Seems like a pretty steep price for a giant iPod.

will be interesting to see what kind of hardware it will run on

I'm sure it will have the wow factor, but from what I've read it really does sound like a giant iPod touch.

Touch screen - that is cool.

I like to touch things with my hands.

It better be magical. No tablet has ever stood the test of time.

It's good for the stock I'm sure. I've made a small fortune this year between aapl and my gold.

If another company was building it, I wouldn't be excited.

Apple is a game-changing company.

Can't wait to see it. It's supposed to work with all the apps in itunes and will open a whole area for developers. Have to see the final specs to make a decision but will most likely pick one up.

sell your shares before this thing hits. you cant make something that gigantic without a keyboard and expect to be taken seriously. unless its marketed as a toy you cant do any actual work with it

I think this is actually where they might be showing off some cool new way to interact with the thing.

I'm not hating, I just don't see the need for a giant iPod...but I'll give them a chance to prove me wrong. People WILL line up in droves to by the thing, regardless of what it is or does.
