Only one I remember hearing about was a new one called payoneer but never took off (almost no sponsors at all offer that option). Epass does have a virtual monopoly of peer-to-peer payments (paypal style) in adult. |
I doubt they are making a fortune off us.
|
epass rocks!
|
Bravo Epass!
Another kick in the balls ... heck whats another $1 charge per ATM withdrawal Multiply that by 100,000+ / Day/ATM withdrawals ... nice bonus pay guys. Fuck don't be so greedy wtf? :321GFY |
I think it time we look at moneybooker
|
I dont see why this is a problem for you, they have really low fees in general.
They provide a GREAT service and are reliable. Wouldent you want to make sure they stay that way? Its pretty much like bitching about CCBill being on the pricy side, yet dont you always get paid? Have they pulled an IBill move? |

jesus christ it's a fucking dollar stfu
|
Thank god for epass!!!! I wonder why I took so long to get an account
|
And people, every one always says that Michel O should get a bonus from Epass, and that he deserves a raise for always taking care of business. What if they actually told you that this extra charge, is for allowing us to pay out a GFY Bonus to Michel O? Would it be more ok then?
If you don't like the charge, withdraw all your funds once a month, pay $3 and deposit the money onto your regular bank card. Your regular bank has their own ATMs and thus not paying anything when you withdraw from those. Epass don't own any ATMs and have to pay a fee each time someone withdraws from one being owned by another bank, since the other bank still pays for electricity, security, service and recharging of the ATM. That's just how it works. If you don't like it, try how well you like it taking your checks, marked with DIRTY NETWORK INC into the bank, telling them that you want to deposit those PORN money in your checking account. Well, how do you like Epass now? I'm not especially fond of them either, I like Paypal a lot better, but at least they spare me from handling checks. And that is a time saver, and considering that I travel a lot, I don't have time running around cashing checks. No, one can dislike Epass for a lot of reasons, they have several areas they need to shape up within, but you can not dislike them for charging a small fee when you use a service which really is provided from a different bank than your own. Get real people! |

$2 to $3... That sucks.

:upsidedow |
that sucks indeed :)

These kind of threads are pointless.
If you don't like a service, or the cost of using a service, then don't use that service. If there is no alternative to using that service, then shut up, pay the fee, and be thankful that this service you rely upon so heavily is run like a business and has a greater chance of staying in business. |

I almost got an Epass account... and then I didnt.
|
To cash a check will cost me $14 and take 3-4 days from I give it to the bank until it is in my account. Epass - Rocks!
|
argh, epasse are still pretty good though!
|
well for me thats not a problem as long as you make more money that ok with me because your money still safe with them,
|
I think it's not a great problem to pay 3$ against 2$ to get cash in ATM
|
who cares i love tthem, eve if its 30$
|
it's not a big problem :)
|
ok
it is not big difference since I am paying 10x more for CCbill wire transfer several times per month. They could pretend at least with their message telling that they are sorry.

I don't really mind...
|
it's not much of a problem for me
|
I have a debit card that costs me $10 per withdraw :1orglaugh
Americans, we know the banks you are used to are dirt cheap. If you are used to depositing your checks and withdrawing cash for free, epass obviously isn't geared towards you. When I withdraw cash from my Chase card in Costa Rica (or even Canada), I pay an additional $5 foreign transaction fee. That is significantly more than Epassporte's $3. |
Don't banks charge you a dollar or two for not even using their own banking machine now a days? And don't you have monthly account fees at a bank as well just for having the honor of giving your money to the bank to hold?
I don't even use ATMs with epass so this doesn't even affect me in the slightest. |
and of course everyone here pays taxes on all the money they withdraw from their Epass accounts...
|
I dont see the problem. Maybe if they did this every year it would be fucked.

I love epassporte, the service is great ( most of the time) but they do charge alot of fees my bank doesn't and this seems like a silly cash grab.:2 cents: |

Part of what makes a great business is LISTENING to your customers. Yes there will always be people who will complain about invalid or useless things , there are also people who would like to see a service better. If nobody ever complained we would still be using square wheels digging turnips for the king.:thumbsup |

and btw - every fucking wire that i receive from outside of CZ costs me like $8 to $12 and every fucking check costs me also about $10 to collect. so it's funny to see people complain about a raise of $1 to a whooping $3. for money that - and i am nearly willing to bet - at least 50% do not report to their taxes. and if you do: payment fees are usually deductable.
