Hunting deer is one thing, but why do these idiots go and shoot leopards and shit?
I mean WTF?
They aren't going to eat a leopard. Just so they can have a trophy. :disgust fuckers....... I like watching these hunting shows but when I see this shit it just pisses me off. |
Is food the sole reason you hunt?

Or is your problem that leopards are prettier than deer? |

anyways Killing a leopard or a lion or any predator like that, unless he's about to eat you, is terrible thing to do. It's not like there are millions of them everywhere. (like deer) It's a shame to kill such an animal for pure sport. |

It's a fact, that tigers do not believe in the same God as we do, so we have to kill them over there before they come over here and attack our Homeland... ADG |
hahahaha juicy

I've always felt that people who hunt those kinds of things like lions, tigers, rhinos or whatever are compensating for some kind of emptiness in themselves. They have to kill something and show their dominance over something in order to feel good about themselves.
It is kind of like people who go out and shop just to be happy. They need to fill the void in their soul by getting some kind of nick-nak or item that makes them happy. |
them leopards is good eatin'
|
There's a taxidermist down the street from here and they were stuffing a fucking Giraffe not too long ago. Like c'mon... shooting a fucking Giraffe is bullshit.
|
if you go there to hunt lets say a lion, you'll have to pay like $30,000 for that lion, then the people or the reserve who own the land will use that money to take care of the other lions, $30,000 goes a long way in that part of the world and its better for someone to take $30,000 and buy food with it than to for example kill an elephant and eat it and have way less food :)

Two words. "Small" and "penis."

Actually there are lots of people who feel having legal exotic hunting is the best way to save endangered species as the money made from licensing can be spent on wildlife reserves :2 cents: Even though I support legal and ethical hunting I could NEVER again shoot any animal unless I absolutely had to eat. I know it sounds hypocritical because I buy meat at the store but I could never kill a wild animal just for sport as I do not take pleasure in ending life. BTW, I was raised in a hunting family and we killed thousands of animals including pheasants, doves, deer, rabbits, gophers, groundhogs, fox, elk, etc. I was allowed to carry my own .22 rifle by the time I was 5 yrs old. I know it sounds crazy but this is still common among ranching familes.
Also, do you guys realize meat from exotic animals such as lions can be legally sold to restaurants in the USA and many other countries? Strange but true. |
Just please do not shoot cougars!... Some of them pay for my rent! :winkwink::pimp

Then maybe we should sell hunts for death row inmates. I bet you could get big bucks for some real human vs human hunts. Just think of the Nealson ratings. Have a 5 acre confined arena. Winner takes all. Just think about it. The money that would generate would be phenomenal. Just think of all the good it could do.
Whew, lol I'm trying to finish off my 1.750l christmas bottle of Crown. I'm feeling light headed. hahaha |

I thought Leopards are endangered?

using the necessity of population control or anything like that is just an excuse, it may or may not be necessary due to mans' meddling, but the actual psyche of the person that enjoys going out and killing is fucked up :2 cents:
even if it is necessity to get food to survive, to enjoy the death is messed up, I see nothing wrong with having to kill when necessary, but the mood should be somber and not done with enjoyment and glee...... the sick fucks that go out and stalk an animal using technology and motorized vehicles etc and get fun out running an animal terrified to its death and putting it down for a trophy are fucked in the head whether it is a leopard or giraffe or whatever :2 cents: |
I hunt and I think part of hunting is eating what you kill. i would never shoot something and not consume it.
that being said, if there is enough to hunt, why not. i hear shooting monkeys is like shoot midgets. |

i really see no difference what so ever in shooting a deer in the woods and shooting a leopard, or japanese fisherman hunting and butchering whales, etc...
killing anything is wrong if you ask me, no matter how you justify it to yourself |

99% of people who want to shoot something are repressed homosexuals.

I'm going to hunt Pandas with a RQ-1 Predator drone.

I'm not into this hunting things...
|
why hunt, kill and eat animals at all? vegetables taste just as good with seasoning.
|
I see that we have similar points of view... I was very often getting mad seeing decapitated bodies of roe dears thrown like garbage to roadside ditches in my homeland :( When I hunt, I hunt to get their meat. Why shoot them just for fun? Just for their horns? This is so fucking stupid.. People who shoot animals only for fun should be shot themselves.

come on Fletch you know that's bullshit. i hunt with a bow during bow season, but as soon as gun season opens i switch why? 1, because your chances of wounding and losing a dear in the bush are about 10x greater than hunting with a rifle 2. it is much more humane to kill a deer with a gun as it sometimes takes several hours of suffering for a deer to die from an arrow where as a well placed round to the head. |
