Should I ban This Paying Mameber

One of my paid members on a mainstream game site has sent me 7 emails all about the same thing I replied to his question the first time but he just keeps on sending me the same message over and over again I have even asked him to stop sending me the same question over and over again but he wont stop

Its weird because he is a paying member and I have no idea why hes doing this

Should I ban him as I have already giving him a warning or should I just ignore his emails

What would you do ?

Juicy D. Links 01-08-2010 07:19 AM

ask him how big his penis is

Jarmusch 01-08-2010 07:21 AM

Maybe your emails are going to his spam folder and he doesn't see them?

You could try emailing him from a different address and see if he stops

AdultKing 01-08-2010 07:21 AM

has his email client b0rked ?

Slick 01-08-2010 07:22 AM

If he's a paying member, I wouldn't cancel his account. What is he asking about ?? Is it how to do something in the game or just a general question ? If he keeps sending the same question, I'd keep sending him the same answer or ignore it, he's paying you, ha ha.

pornguy 01-08-2010 07:23 AM

Send him the same answer over and over.. Set an auto responder for his email address

Good idea. If you can get him to reply to one of your responses you'll know they're getting through. After that I would start ignoring them. :2 cents:

I would come to a forum that is completely unrelated and ask a load of complete strangers a question that no one gives a fuck about.

Oh you tried that already :2 cents:

No they cant because the emails /messages are done within the site so when you log into the account you have your own inbox where all the emails from admins/ members go and thier is no spam box on it.

Its about something in the game. The game has a built in lottery which is drawn every week and is automated and he keeps asking the same question about this.

or maybe you can make it that when he logs in there is a custom message that tells gives him his answers and tells him he must of not gotten your replies

you can track then if he loged in and you know for sure he saw the messaage and if it contiues ban him

Yeah you can track when he last logged in and when he is online but you cant automate messages in the game which is a shame cause that would be a good idea

The Heron 01-08-2010 08:06 AM

Why the fuck would you ban him? Is his one question costing more than he makes you?
Obviously if he's still playing and not spreading bad rumours about you ignoring his desperate email questions then who cares.

Why? because he keeps sending me the same message with the exact the same question which I allready answered. He is not spreading rumours atm but I guess that might come if I dont reply to his emails. Its pretty annoying when every time I log into my admin panel I have messages from the same guy asking the same thing

Zorgman 01-08-2010 08:22 AM

Answer his question with a question.
But take his money, don't cancel it.

Its not a recuring member payment as such.. The members have the option of playing for free but they dont get all the game features so they buy credits which opens up the full game for them and allow them to get higher rankings and a load of other stuff. Once the credits run out they buy more so you cant really cancel the membership but you ban players or penalize them by taking game money away.

Just out of curiosity if this was happening on an adult pay site what would you guys do ?

Its the in-games message emails that he keeps on sending me the email to, although I could send emails to his registered email address. I might give that a go

By all means, do take his money! Both the real world money and in the game. Make a huge deduction of his in game money, that will make him ask about that instead. Then say "oops, something went wrong, here you go, your money back".

But by all means, do take his money. Never cancel a paying member. After all, I'm getting paid to deal with morons each day, I take comfort in knowing that they rebill frequently and laugh all the way to the bank. Take his money and live with it! ;)

You must always take something and make money with it. Start charging $$$ for questions or cross sell something

I'd rather get spammed by a paying member than all the spam I get from random idiots regardless.

Both are the similar thoughts with the same answer from myself & Natalie. Why ban someone when they are paying you for a simple email reply. :thumbsup

We have members that we cam for, included in membership. Sometimes we only have 3 or 4 members online at say midday on a monday and 50viewing on a friday night. We are still keeping our members happy. Get your pay for a 1minute email :thumbsup

Hentaikid 01-08-2010 05:16 PM

Treat paying members well so they stay paying members for years.

Glenn Beck 01-08-2010 05:18 PM

ban that sumbitch

seeric 01-08-2010 05:20 PM

what question is he asking?

Glenn Beck 01-08-2010 05:21 PM

ban that Mameber, all to hell!

RachelPanda 01-08-2010 05:24 PM

If he's seriously bothering you, I wouldn't think twice to ban him.

for what reason? He is emailing a question that as said by a few people, may not have ever been seen in his email box.

Bugger me, an email once a month is worth membership :1orglaugh.

CaptainHowdy 01-08-2010 06:16 PM

Online support/chat with him?

quiet 01-08-2010 06:23 PM

i could write a book on weird member emails. in fact, it's going to be a component of a book i'm writing. i saved them all, glad i did.

Disable his email feature.

Tell him to 'STFU nube'.

Just don't ban him, that's shooting yourself in the foot.

CreamyMedia 01-08-2010 07:01 PM

Silly to ban him. Do your members provide a contact/mobile # when signing-up?
If so, phone him and answer his question that way.

RayBonga 01-08-2010 07:02 PM

ignore him and hop he keeps paying over and over and over like he does with the e-mails.
