which is the better processor?

is there another that is better than either?

Isn't Verotel the one that deducts money from your account on account of shit that happened like 50 years before?

Go with Epoch or better yet CCBill.

Verotel still owe me money from 2003/2004... when the Visa/Mastercard regs changed and they curled up their toes for a while not billing for international webmasters they didn't send the last payments, which sucked.

Then again add them to the long list of companies that owed me money

There have been some bad threads about Verotel. Wouldn't go with them, but with Epoch.

So why do you now have your own merchant account with all of the 3rd party processors that you have been burned by?

We run our own merchant accounts now, it wasn't an option in AU for adult when we started in 1996.

Nope, we do the works in house.

Set up a merchant account, thousands of dollars, fees everything all setup, happy as a clam. Six months later was told that the bank was getting rid of all its high risk merchant accounts and ours was one they were dropping (charge backs under 1%) and we'll be shit out of luck after xxx day. So you can get burnt by banks and merchants as well.

I've been using Verotel for some time now. Never had a single problem with them..

There are lots of processors. Why use either of these?
I am with Epoch and ccbill, ccbills affiliate system works well. Im wondering about using a processor from Spain as it takes less commissions although you need to find your own affiliate system.
