I mean we've seen hyper-realistic stuff before to be sure, but this is reeeeeally close up, the level of details is amazing. Also amazing is his use of the lens for depth of field.

Interesting making a cg film from a camera pov, not the human eye. I got a little tired of the focus tricks, but it did add to the realism. Nice fucking work.
