Setting Up 4 Affiliates- how much is good?
Hey I'm getting ready for the official launch and gonna be setting up my affiliates program this week, how much do you guys look for when joining various programs?
Is the initial payout you look at? The life time revshare? the PPS? Or Per Free Sign that catches your eye? your thoughts? thnx:winkwink: |
An affiliate told me last night that he didn't think I should have a paysite unless I could offer $1 trials with $35 PPS. I'm not going to offer that, though.
Say it with me, everyone... It's about content... The revshare or PPS amount is not what's going to get affiliates to promote you, Fukcdoll. It's how much money they can make promoting you. If a program offers $35 PPS, but nobody joins... it doesn't do the affiliate any good. But if you offer $20 PPS, and you have a much better ratio, an affiliate will likely make more promoting you than someone else. |

I don't have a lot of over head to make HUGE pays out, but my retention rates in past work has been G-R-E-A-T! So I'll go the $20.00 PPS that I was thinking originally Thnx:) X |
Gaining affiliates is a very tough job these days, however people will sign up for 50-60% lifetime payouts if you have a great marketable product. The hard part is separating your content out from everyone else that is currently on the market. Don't get discouraged when you realize your a tiny fish in a HUGE ocean, just work your way up the food chain if your able AND that lies on you and you alone.

- Give affiliate fresh content to promote (better if you give access to members area) - Pay on time - Pay on time - Pay on time - epassporte payments - give them a good support (answer emails and icq) - give them freehosting service Can't remember more for now :2 cents: |
