Noob questions incoming..

Hello, super noob here all over again.. I've been out of the scene for awhile. I was a pretty successful adult affiliate about 5 or more years ago..and then moved on to non-adult sites. Which was mostly a mistake...and the reason why i'm back now.

First off, I was wondering if TGP type sites are still the good converters these days ? The ones kinda like russian-mistress ? I was thinking about going for a template like that. With the 'Hall of Fame' stuff near the top all being affiliate links. And the rest underneath all being user submitted femdom galleries.

It seemed like years ago Lesbian porn was the most popular. Now it almost seems like FemDom , Lezdom , Facesitting are the big ones. Am I right ?

Also, like I said i've been out of the loop for awhile... Is it still super important for U.S. webmasters to still have a Warnings page ?....even if were just displaying gallery pages as affiliates ?

When i'm clicking around on femdom galleries these days, it seems like nobody has a Warning page anymore...except for the sites that actually process payments. (which I wont have)

Last thing , My galleries will most likely be starting off with crap traffic to start.. Are there some well known , mainstream ways these days to get a legitimate traffic boost ? I'm even willing to pay for legit traffic upfront.

I've got uber hosting & all so thats no problem.

Its a lot of questions...I know.. but any help / tips is much appreciated.

Thanks
John

Yup your right.

Read up on 2257. I still use warning page, good spot to do hard link trades.

Conversion ratios have never been this shitty but still worth the effort in submitting galleries.

Good Luck

If you want to learn more about 18 USC 2257, check out these links:
  • Click here for full-text of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Click here for the official DOJ FAQ.

Good luck! :thumbsup

From what I read, it seems mostly for people that make their own videos & such. I wont be producing any material. Just affiliate links.

Even the image hosting would be on their servers. So even though i'd still be displaying the images on my site, its coming from their hosting. (which they allow..I already double checked) Plus i'm not looking to have any hardcore images.. anything like that will be going straight to affiliate links.

If you guys could help with these couple more, it would be much appreciated & a huge boost in getting me going in the right direction.

1.

2. I been looking around for a popular TGP software to use. It seems like TGPX is a good one. If anyone's had experience, (good or bad) please share. Or maybe you even recommend another ?

3. How to choose partners to accept galleries from ? I had a TGP software about 5 years ago..but I remember accepting galleries from random people...people would either eventually change the page of their gallery or redirect to another site...or even a virus site.. That was very annoying..and eventually caused me to give up on the biz. Is there a more convenient way these days to accept reliable Gallery submitting partners that wouldn't do stupid things like that ? maybe nowadays , people have Ratings..kind of like on Ebay ? Good submitters, bad submitters,etc.. (I thought about this off the top of my head)

Feel free to PM me links if your not allowed to post em here

thanks much,

John

On the bottom of the gallery leave the url non-linked so the tgp scripts do not count it as a outside link.

Example: 18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance mysponsorspornsite.com/2257.html

Your sponsor will have the appropriate link for the content.

If you're looking to buy traffic, I recommend TrafficHolder. You can buy traffic by niche, by geo-location, or by domain, and they filter out all the garbage traffic. You can also choose which domains to buy traffic from... or which domains to exclude.

They now have a traffic testing system that lets you determine which traffic converts best for you -- thus you can learn how their traffic performs on your website before placing any orders. Advantages:
  • Earn more and pay less by finding the best traffic sources.
  • Get full stats of how traffic performs on your website and choose the best traffic providers basing on actual test results from your website.

You can stop, start, or tinker with your order at any time through a simple control panel. Plus their prices are very reasonable. :thumbsup

Don't forget CFNM (Clothed Female Naked Male) - a big niche and growing daily which converts very well. Links in with FemDom and Facesitting as well if you are into that. :thumbsup

Thanks, will look into it.

Any intel on TGPX ... Is it legit ? All the google searching i've done..it seems to come up more often than others.

Also, how to find legitimate gallery submitting partners ...is it like an automated process these days once I find a TGP software ?

thx much.

From my understanding TPG's had their run, but now Google and other major search engines won't index them anymore. From my understanding the cash bonanza with TPG's is over.

The TPG canned software I looked at, like ComusThumbs, worked well enough and you can specialize in a niche...I recommend doing that. You have to really customize it to make it look different than the next guys TPG and what I did not like what that they skimmed traffic from you unless you pay them to not too.

The only way I can see TPG to work is to make a site for every niche you can think of and then link to your your other TPG's for traffic. Perhaps with 30 or 40 TPG sites you might then start seeing some income that make it worth while. With one site I would not expect squat.

From what I read, it appears you are not a total noob. Welcome back to TGP business. No way of telling what the conversions will be - you have to try it and see it for yourself.

I don't want to be left behind. In fact, I want to be here before the action starts.
