hey PHP programmers what do you code in?
 

I recently moved to windows 7, and upgraded to zend 7. I don't like it at all. It's a real pain in the ass to work with, no drag and drop, etc.

I was wondering what some of you are using? And yes, right now I'm using notepad and old old homesite.

I'm stuck at php5.

I use Zend 7.1, it does have its annoyances, but I have yet to come across anything I like better.

argh, I guess I am going to have to learn to like it.

I use Coda on Mac.

Dreamweaver. Use it for PHP/CF/ASP/HTML/CSS/JS. If I didn't have CS4 I'd most likely use BBEdit instead.

notepad++ is good

I code in my jammies.

use zend framework 5 - above 5 they're eclipse based and shit.

I use mcedit (on linux) and notepad on windows.

ZendStudio 5.5 or VIM

I started using komodo edit

i dropped zend 7, to many bugs and anoying features, switched to Nusphere phped

I've been using WeBuilder for years. App rocks. :2 cents:

I just found that a few months ago. I can't believe more people don't use it.

I use Notepad2 or Pico...

I only code in shell, so use Nano or vi (prefer nano).

On a more serious note my favorite editors in order are vim, textmate, emacs.

Seriously! It took me a long time to stumble onto WeBuilder and I'm so glad I did. I only wish I had found it a long time before I did. ALL other editors/environments FAIL big time in comparison...even Zend! If only others would realize its potential. But, of course it can only be great in the hands of someone who knows how to wield it. :upsidedow

Summary: Get WeBuilder and save yourself unimaginable development time now. :thumbsup
