A new Jimi Hendrix album will be released soon, titled "Valleys of Neptune" (this is not the version from the album, but a bootleg that has been floating around among fans for years):
There is also a new "Experience Hendrix" tribute tour coming to 18 cities this year, starting in March, which will feature members of the original Jimi Hendrix Experience, and the Hendrix Band of Gypsys group, as well as many other musicians heavily influenced by Hendrix, such as Joe Satriani, Brad Whitford (of Aerosmith), members from Stevie Ray Vaughn's band, and members from Living Color, among many others...
