My friend is doing a benefit for Haiti supper and drinks on Thursday at her restaurant.

All the donation, creole $5 dinner and 10% of bar proceeds will go to the Wyclef Jean fondation www.yele.org to help out the people in Haiti.

Event will be held at Cafe Republique on Bernard in Outremont. 1051 Bernard Ouest.

Hit me up asap if you want to come support Haiti, eat great food and drink well and I will reserve us a nice table.

Every time I turn the TV on, I find myself tearing up. Last night I saw a young girl being told through her Mother that her leg had to be amputated. She was so terrified, and her Mother was told she had to decide between amputation or death for her daughter.

There is nothing even remotely close to being that bad in my life, or those of my family and friends.

It will be a pleasure for me and my two boys to come along and share in this charity event for a great cause. I have donated money a few times already, and I think I will be doing so again... and again.

i'd love to but I can't on that day...but bump for you and a good cause!
