icq removing users for you?
 

it seems the past week or two I try and msg someone on icq and they are no longer in my list
and I have to find them and re-add them all over again

fucking annoying

anyone else else have this problem?

sounds weird buddy ... since I remember , I've never have any problems with my ICQ

yes its been doing that for months a user here and a user there very annoying

Been happening to me for a long time. One day they are there and the next they are gone.

I hate the fact that it limits the number of contacts you can have! I have to delete one to add one now because my list is full

it used to "orphan" them for me on trillian

Never happend to me until 2-3 weeks ago, i KEEP getting dropped icq contacts.

Re added 5-7 today alone

I wish ICQ would remove some of the users in mine....

That used to drive me nuts, it's an easy fix though.

Go to "Manage My Connections" and deselect the "Automatically Connect to this account on Startup" check box.

You'll have to go back to manage my connections and click "Connect" for each account whenever you open Trillian, but it's really not that big of a pain and it corrects the Orphaned Account issue completely. :thumbsup

It has happened to me as well.
