scamers are everywhere

candyflip 01-21-2010 08:53 AM

They could really be looking for people and this is just a way of weeding some folks out while putting a few dollars in their pocket.

I'd bet there are a few programs out there who have no problem with this traffic. Definitely not the majority, but 1 or 2.

CPimp 01-21-2010 10:01 AM

Wow... kinda like fraud if you ask me...

Chris 01-21-2010 10:04 AM

Haha.. SCAM. And quite obvious if you know what to look for. This method is also used to promote dating sites and many other things. I bet this guy is a BHW member.

If it was a scam, the program would catch on to it pretty fast and can them.

jesse_adultdatingdollars 01-21-2010 01:32 PM

donkevlar 01-21-2010 01:36 PM

Ha, this post describes one of my actual jobs to a T, but still looks like a scam.

andrej_NDC 01-21-2010 02:59 PM

They aren't looking for anyone, there is no job. Its just horribly disguised spam from some Quickbuck affiliate that's probably kept that posting ongoing forever. Telling them to cancel early is probably grounds for termination, but Quickbuck has generally shown not to police their affiliates nor respond to any complaints regarding them.

seoguyzzz 01-21-2010 03:33 PM

hahaha! post job on a freelancer site and put money in escrow.

bbobby86 01-21-2010 04:40 PM

i want this job... xaxaaaa...

AmeliaG 01-21-2010 04:55 PM

I'm glad the program I run is revshare and not PPS. That is simultaneously of course bad, but also entertaining in its evil genius.

CamTraffic 01-21-2010 05:06 PM

hope you emailed the affiliate program and let them know bout it

Ayla_SquareTurtle 01-21-2010 05:10 PM

Pathetic. They've been getting away with it since at least the summer of 2009. Do a search on "Pauline Marshall The Writer's Guild" and look at how much pops up.
