Best way to get a domain I want thats expiring tomorrow?
I want a domain I used to own when I was a kid that I let drop
Tomorrow it's expiring and I want to grab it, but how? Is SnapNames going to work? It's about $50 to "bid" on it.. whats the best way to get this? Very low competition for it im sure but i mainly want it for sentimental reasons Ty |
I've been waiting for tomorrow for at least 2 years btw.. im hoping theres a way to grab it if the owner doesn't renew
|
whats the domain?
|
tomorrow it will expire, then give another 40 days for redemption period

What registrar was it with? That will make a difference. If Snapnames shows it in a search though, just backorder it and good luck.

I can't personally say I've used them, but Godaddy backorder I know someone who was happy with it. If it's that important, why not spend a little more try a few places all at once?
|
put it in a few drop services and hope you can get it
but you wont get it tomorrow tomorrow it expires but the register will prob hold it for two weeks for the owner in a redemption period |
do i only pay snapnames if i win or do they immediately charge the $60?
|
how long does enom/namecheap hold domains ransom? i had a domain expired and now they want $200....they registered it for another year those motherfuckers.

Namejet has the Network Solutions exclusive partnership. Snapnames doesn't get those names anymore.
