Inanimate object obsessions. Why? [pics]
Fucking Hello Kitty.
As a very good example. Inanimate, cartoon 2D drawing of a fat-headed cat with a bow between the ears. Voila. How the fuck can this become a global marketing phenomenon after so many years? OK, so my daughter has been obsessed with this cartoon cat for about 2 years now, but she's now 5. Yet there is a "Hello Kitty" shop in the centre of town that is dedicated to this pussy selling stupid clothes and it isn't 5 year old kids going in there. Care to explain the rationale for such irrational behaviour? Hello Kitty obsessed freaks - divulge all! and for you who came here purely for the pics.... http://www.borkedcoder.com/images/gfy/hk.jpg |
I came here for the pic, thanks :winkwink:

But this is what I don't get - what value or power can this object have over sane women, or is that a contradiction in terms for those that are pulled in by inanimate objects? http://theweightinggame.ivillage.com...ellokitty1.jpg I think I'm going to have to do a HK search on GFY, cos I know there are some people here that are/were obsessed by it.... and I want to know what was the pulling power?! |
