Idiots at register.com
 

They've been calling me all week multiple times per day, must be using an auto dialer or something because half the time when I pick up there is no one there.

Finally a person is there today after about the 50th call. He asks me if I want to renew the privacy protection on one of my domains as it is set to expire in March.

I tell him all my domains were moved from register to namecheap over half a year ago. He says, "yes you are correct. Thank you for using register.com."

they are total morons. i spoke to them once and kept telling them i can get 8 bucks a year elsewhere, they kept trying to sell me hosting and other crap. i think they are even worse than netsol. at least they don't bother you.

I remember when register.com was like the 2nd best to network solutions.com, I still have one domain with networksolutons.

Godaddy just makes most sense to me...

I gotta agree with ya. Godaddy doesn't bug at all compared to all other registrars. Definitely my fav for years. :2 cents:

I went to Moniker and have been very happy.

Was it some outsourced guy from Singapore?
