So I wrote a screenplay about a porno actor..($50 inside)
 

Actually, I co-wrote it with a friend of mine..

It's called The Burning Love of Dong Bonders and it's a comedy (in case the title didn't tip you off).

We entered it into the BlueCat Screenplay Competition, and by default were entered into the Best Title competition as well. I guess the funky title paid off because we made it into the top 20.

Now, the whole reason for starting this thread..

I sold a screenplay in 96 that went direct to video and rewrote someone else's that did the same (LOL, hope he doesn't have a contract on my life now - he's a fairly prolific television director). Wrote a bunch more and even got paid for a couple more since, and still get some chump change foreign levies from the WGA every year that help fill up my car at the gas pump.

We're getting spanked by "The Unnatural Flights of the Human Mind"

The poll was shut down last week due to cheating, and it looks like it might happen again..

First time around, after about 5 days, the top guy had 350 votes, this time he's got 1100 in only 4 days.. Something doesn't add up.

They do script analysis and workshops, that kinda shit..

Haha, that's awesome dude. I've yet to sell anything, but not about to give up. I must admit I'd be a wee bit disappointed if my script turned into a straight to DVD job, but I'm sure the fat check would help me cope with the pain, LOL. Thanks for your vote, much appreciated :thumbsup
