That film influenced and motivated a lot of newcomers into the stockbroking business.
MD was so slick in that film but god has he aged in the new film!

Just a observation of course!
Cell research may cure that one day though.

dyna mo 01-27-2010 09:36 AM

the thing i like about md's acting is how good he makes all the actors around him.

hat's off to him and i am looking forward to wall street 2

DollarKing 01-27-2010 09:54 AM

Who is the guy in the avatar Dyno? At first glance it reminds me of Vincent Price another great actor of times gone bye!

That's Tony Clifton, a character made up by the late great Andy Kaufman

A must-see for me.The comparison will be there, inevitably. The cast and the director should do great.

DollarKing 01-27-2010 10:26 AM

I have been waiting for this movie for years. The first one was an absolute classic and I was always hoping they made a sequel so we know what happens to Bud and Gecko.

HerPimp 01-29-2010 09:08 AM

I hope they didn't fuck this up.

Trax 01-29-2010 09:15 AM

i think it looks ok
oliver stone... i mean thats not bad, right? looks promising. at least i am looking forward to it

The Demon 01-29-2010 09:16 AM

If you're an economics/financial guy, this is going to be great.

sweetcuties 01-29-2010 09:21 AM

Wow, I just got a hard on... I've seen Wall Street a shitload of times. Brings me back to my cold calling days, lol trying to be a broker. I could never pass the series 7 tho, lol. Now I push porn :thumbsup

Naechy 01-29-2010 09:27 AM

first is better

james_clickmemedia 01-29-2010 11:11 AM

Looks good judging from the trailer.

DollarKing 01-29-2010 11:20 AM

Charlie Sheen only has a cameo appearance in this film apparently!
He was in trouble recently for hitting his wife or something i heard.

VikingMan 01-29-2010 11:33 AM

Gotta love how the first movie misdirected the viewers into thinking the kings of Wall Street are still WASPS. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

If they used prosthetic makeup maybe they could have kept gordon young all those years!

gandalfuy 01-29-2010 12:31 PM

First one was great!

DollarKing 01-29-2010 03:12 PM

Maybe they waited too long to make a sequel i would say by 10 years then this could have been Wall Street 3!
Or they could have made Wall Street 3 with same time frame release as 2 with Gordon coming out of prison in his 80's or thereabouts after re-entering prison at the end of 2.

sandman! 01-29-2010 03:14 PM

cant wait for the movie!

You've never heard of him? Well let's see he was in both Transformer movies and Indiana Jones 4 for starters. Had supporting parts in I Robot and Constantine. And you've never seen any of those? Anyways the disdain people have for him may have to do with the fact that's he's one of those churned out Disney kid stars. Or the fact despite being 4' 8" tall and dorky looking he's considered of of his generation's "sex symbols".
