Nicky 01-27-2010 04:02 PM

I wonder who got Ipadporn.com

Horny Dude 01-27-2010 04:04 PM

Not me. I'm sure they were taken since news broke last year.

seeric 01-27-2010 04:05 PM

no need for it anymore.

exact match tld for phrase target on score is no where close to what it used to be. minimal actually. can rank for ipad porn with joesfukstickshack.com just as easy as ipadporn.com if you know what you're doing.

Domain Diva 01-27-2010 04:06 PM

Its for sale in the buy and sell section...the guy got it in august......(ipadporn) :thumbsup

True, but it's easier to market a site like ipadporn.com than rickfuckspiecesofpoo.com

You need to step away from the SEO.

I may not know much but I know that not all traffic comes from SEO and that repeat visitors can make or break a site

:thumbsup

Apple has gone after ipod domain owners...if you feel like having Apple come down on you, go get ipad domains. Microsoft has successfully won lawsuits of millions of dollars against particularly egregious Microsoft TM domain owners - Apple could surely do the same if they wanted to. If you feel like being Apple's bitch, then go right ahead. :thumbsup

BlackCrayon 01-27-2010 06:52 PM

you're just wasting your money...

Actually I think this guy is right. SEO definitely looks less and less at domain name and more and more at content, coding, links, tags, etc etc.

Now and future... Its all going to be about content, coding, etc.

I can understand if the domain was Ipad.com and people were going to type that in, or porn.com, etc. but ipadporn.com ~ spending money on such a name hoping for magical traffic is just stupid.

I have not registered one.

By the way, cybersquatting is one big bullshit created by big corporations to steal developed domains from hardworking webmasters.

In a lot of cases yes, even for generic domains, but developing a name based around a Corporations product is just dumb and anyone who cries about that 'developed trademarked' domain getting ripped away from them should just be laughed at.

Naechy 01-31-2010 02:54 PM

I agree if someone beats a trademark owner to a domain etc but every day i see big trademark domains still available in many extensions and they dont invest $20 + protecting thier mark....but once someone takes it they will spend thousands on legal action to recover it.......are thousands and thousands of domains supposed to be left sitting until the owner may or may not want it.......sometimes trademark owners can be as bad as "cybersquatters" in my view. :2 cents:

Hi,

Following the release of Apple's iPad we've decided to sell two great domains that we bought last year for another project - not apple related.

Due to the large amount of interest we have received we have set up two auctions with sedo for the domains.

ipadporn auction:
https://sedo.com/auction/auction_det...ction_id=97186

ipadxxx auction:
https://sedo.com/auction/auction_det...ction_id=97185

The domains were purchased in April 2009 and have not been used.

Both domains are already showing strong type-in traffic.

The iPad as with the iPod is sure to be another runaway success from Apple, and a born porn viewing platform.

We really appreciate your time.

closer 02-19-2010 06:25 PM

wow .. . $1500 already for ipadporn.com

Yes the market for ipad...imobile and mobile domains in general is now starting to pick up pace...just as nobody thought that gaytube or other such tube domains would be worth much 12 yrs ago ..its only a matter of time before the mobile adult industry is a huge part of the biz.....and mobile domains are like gold dust.

I was going to sit on the sidelines a few months but have decided to broker some of the better ones inc iPadTube etc for clients.

If anyones looking for premium ipad domains or general mobile ones suitable for cams,teens,etc..... let me know as im representing some nice ones.

Thanks :)

There has only been one bid and just so happens for both of them at the same time? I would be very surprised to see additional bids and / or to see the transaction actually complete.

Yes you could be correct ....:)

Overall though I have seen the amount of mobile domain activity become more and more active in the general marketplace and have watched as more and more new mobile sites appear in the site annoucements on gfy.....

In my own view the future is Mobile.

I think the biggest step to the boom will be when more payment and micro payment systems are intergrated into devices.

I agree. Anyone thinking ipad IS mobile or is going to have a huge impact on the mobile industry needs to get the crack out of their pipe.

I dont think its going to have any affect on the mobile industry at all..but it will become a regular household device over time for many.

I didn't :)
