How many posts per page are recommended using wp?

Maybe the more the better, right?

Posts per page, like on the front?

I would say whatever makes the page load the fastest and helps get the visitor to click into the site... everything else is gravy.

I use 5 or 10 posts per page at my blogs / splogs

It all depends what are u trying to achieve if you, are updating your site/blog once every 6 months or whatever, try for around 1200-1500 words on page(this works best for me).,. that means around 5 posts with 200 words, but if you are updating your blog on regular basis than you should try for quality to give something to your visitor to stick around, posts with 500+ words 5-10 posts on the page, as i said it all depends of frequency of updating your blog and link structure that you have...

I'm updating every day, I changed it to 8 posts to match with the sidebar, I don't like empty spaces...

10 default, works fine for me.

I typically roll with 7-10 posts on the front page

that chat with voice is annoying as hell and imho many people close your blog cause of it. did the blog made any sales already?

5-10, most of the time I'm using the default 10
