Who is more of a thief?
Who is more of a thief after reading the following:
The government busted bernie madoff for his ponzi scheme in which he embezzled what, like $70 million from his investors? What happened to the money they recovered from Madoff? From what I understand, the people he scammed never got any money back. Correct me if I am wrong. Here in Ohio, this company called Fair Financial was raided by the FBI last November for a similar scheme. None of the victims got any of their money back. Where the fuck is it? Tell me who is the bigger thief here... the guy running the scam or the government for not giving the victims back whatever money they recover based on a percentage. Like for example if I invest $1 million and you invest $2 million, and they only recover 1.5 million, I would get $500k and you'd get a million. Seriously, where is the fucking money? |

If you can get me back the money that iBill collected on my behalf, but never turned over, then I will happily give you half. As far as I am concerned, iBill is the biggest thief I have ever encountered. ADG |
In the Madoff case, there were a number of funds seized from his family members who had also participated in the scam. Some of this money was indeed given to the defendents, though I can't get an accurate figure of just how much. But yes, some was returned. But all governments are thieves, so it shouldn't be any kind of shock. Here in PR, they have a saying that goes a little like this..."don't steal, the government hates competition".

I like that one, nodtveidt! Couldn't be more true. And ADG, I wasn't sure so thats why I said correct me if I was wrong hahah! That's fucking insane.
