It's a self portrait of himself staring into the eyes of a Chubacubra. He used a macro lens for full effect.

joefriday 02-01-2010 08:41 PM

Hmm interesting pic.

looks like a chop, but still pretty cool

CunningStunt 02-02-2010 01:50 AM

Far too clean to not be a chop.

Nicely done all the same.

rowan 02-02-2010 04:41 AM

There's an abrupt change of scenery between the black and golden parts of the eye... are those TREES on the left?

HomerSimpson 02-02-2010 05:39 AM

:thumbsup:thumbsup

rowan 02-02-2010 05:53 AM

Actually now that I look again I can easily see that it is shopped... the photo of the cats eye has a shallow depth of field; the eye area is in sharp focus yet the fur above it is blurred. An object a foot or two away (such as a camera) would be completely blurred.

Roby 02-02-2010 07:46 AM

looks great

Scott McD 02-02-2010 08:04 AM

So is it real or not ??

fatfoo 02-02-2010 08:39 AM

Deej 02-02-2010 02:58 PM

Nice, however fake... The reflection would not stop and be secluded to just the pupil.

Neat nonetheless :pimp

MagicMediaPictures 02-02-2010 03:10 PM

That's a photoshop. Macro lenses + flash ? ;))

MagicMediaPictures 02-02-2010 03:11 PM

Not to mention that chupacabra "the goat snatcher" .. is only an imagination beast. Not existing in reality ;)

It's NOT a photochop.

That's why I posted it. I watched him take the photo.

That is a lamp to the left. It was shot in the living room.

Photo of him taking the photo or it didn't happen.

WebairMetz 02-03-2010 01:28 PM

awesome pic- looks great

Dood 02-03-2010 04:18 PM

Nice shot! I thought it was probably enhanced to show more detail but it may not be.

I took this pic with a regular lens from a few feet away and the second pic is a crop of just the eye. You can kind of see my reflection but it's not very clear.

The photo was not touched up or enhanced at all. Just sized down.

He got lucky with the first shot. We tried to duplicate it with with my other cat, but it didn't work so well. lol

FAIL..

OBVIOUS FAKE. I know nothing about taking photos, but I do know that nobody....NOBODY gets that close to the Chupacabra and lives to tell the tale :2 cents:

ZeroHero 02-03-2010 06:30 PM

Clean & very profesional maybe and arty :)
