James Cameron does Avatar 2?

What do ya think people...will it be yet another success or just another worthless movie only good as a sleepingpill?

My experience of Avatar was that I fell asleep after 5 minutes and woke up and realized I had lost my 3D glasses :Oh crap

more or less like my experience haha, i didn't really like the plot, found it annoying and boring. lots of people liked it though.

Well..I think it was too much drama and love over the movie...I was expecting loads of action and stuff like that..

All the sheep would line up again to see it, so yes he should do it. Money in the bank.

nico-t 02-04-2010 06:21 AM

he shouldnt call it "Avatar 2".. He should call it "Avatars".

Like Aliens! Im so damn brilliant.

BaldBastard 02-04-2010 06:48 AM

Only a nong would of gone to see for the story line. Movie has sure boosted my bank account and if you were too stupid not to see it or get on the bandwaggon before the movie was released.. more power to me :P
Avatar 2 and 3 are forgone conclusions, only question is will there be a 4th movie or Tv series. Will be interesting to see how it kicks off 3d TV sales, I'm sort of banking on that being more Avatar 2 and in 2011-12 though

OK, so you didn't care for the #1 movie of all time in ticket sales and it couldn't hold your attention for five minutes.

Could you list a few movies that you did find captivating so we can get a sense of your movie tastes.

As long as it makes money it's good for the creators and that also means it's entertaining for the viewers.I'd like to see the next one.

FrozenJag 02-04-2010 07:52 AM

Avatar 2 will be just as huge.

I would go see it for sure. I really liked the first one though. :)

Ramster 02-04-2010 08:43 AM

This will become a trilogy, Cameron has already said he plans to do it that way.

KILL_FRENZY 02-04-2010 09:58 AM

Great, they'll ruin this one too. Looking forward to a Matrix outcome

CosmicTang 02-04-2010 11:11 AM

If he wrote the story as a trilogy to begin with and arced it properly he has a chance. The issue with The Matrix was that it arced in the first movie as it was never intended to be a trilogy.

No guarantees tho.
