Who has a Tempur-Pedic bed?
 

I think a lot of my shitty sleeping habits might have to do with my mattress. My ex forced me into buying one that was to firm, so I put some pillow top on top of it and isnt all that confortable. Ive never slept in one, but curious to how they are: http://www.tempurpedic.com/mattresses/

Wouldnt sleep on anything else.

Do some research and get the best bed you can afford. We seem to forget that we spend about 1/3 of our life in bed. Nothing more satisfying than a night of DEEP sleep.

can you just put the tempurpedic mattress on a regular box spring?

I have one and don't care for it at all. Half of the time I wake up and my sciatic nerve is killing me. I much prefer a premium pillowtop.

those things suck if you are anywhere 6ft and 200lbs +. I am 6ft 220, it is completely shitty to sink in and try to get out more then in the morning when you wake up for it not to be annoying.

We have the pillows, does that count? They rock.

I have one, I like it. It remains consistent and contours to your body.

here's the breakdown, been sleeping on one for 7 years, actually two cause I had em replace my original last year.

1. If you keep your house above 74 degrees farenh. don't buy one... I moved to south florida from ohio, typical Ohio house temps are 67 to 72, here in FL it's 75 to 79... once the temp goes over 75 the thing becomes a freakin sponge and it's no better for your back than any crappy bed.

2. They are the absolute worse bed for sex. You knees sink in, her as sinks in, and there is absolutely no bounce like you get from a normal mattress.

3. Despite what they say, if you have an active sex life and you move houses/apts it will wear out and you will get a sag in the middle from the sex and folding when you move. I had to have mine replaced because of this. I fuck alot :)

If you have a cool house, don't mind the lower quality sex surface, it's definitely worth it, plus they do honor their warranty to my great surprise. Don't be surprised if it loses it's firmness after the first year though.

I have one. Don't regret a penny of the high price tag.

You have to have a hard surface, you can't use your old box springs.

I had one but I switched to Duxiana. Like Supz said, if you?re over 200 lbs, Tempurpedic is not a good choice.
