Anyone in Vancouver for the Winter Olympics?

If so and you want to talk business or just go out for a dring give me a shout :pimp

HandballJim 02-07-2010 10:07 AM

the promotion of the olympics suck this year, maybe cause the news in the states is all about recession, unemployment, and politics.

I will watch it for sure, but more of a summer olympics fan, I hate cold weather so never played called weather sports...besides football.

My bitch just brought me a nice hot Chai Tea. Want some?

CDSmith 02-07-2010 10:25 AM

You sure you have enough of the white stuff out that way for the Olympics? Maybe we should move the games to Winnipeg, we just got another 7-8 cm of snow here, on top of what we already had of course. It's the nice light fluffy kind, very easy to shovel. :D

Well 3 weeks ago there was only snow half way up the mauntains as im sure you know.
But im told its good now, also Feb is a cold month "usually" up there so no doubt they have bought every free snowblower in North America :2 cents:

But yeah overall you could go to Vancouver right now and not even know that it was winter really.

When the Olympics were first announced I said "I'm going to be as far away from Vancouver as possible during them"...

Now that they're happening I wish I was home :(

fatfoo 02-07-2010 02:05 PM

I've never been to Vancouver. I heard that it rains a lot there. Maybe I will visit someday.

Curling is NOT a sport, its what people in Canada do to keep warm.

Have you ever curled? The competition can be fierce.

At the very least it's a better activity than bowling :1orglaugh

Say good night Sabby. I really am sorry to see you wind up like this. Back in the day, you were really good. Then you crashed and burned at Jayma.... Opran...... then Netpo..... But there have been a lot of casualties in this biz.
