Went to Sharron Osbournes charity poker event in the Hard Rock yesterday.(pic)
It was great got to meet some awesome people and hung out with Rob Iler (AJ Soprano)
there were a lot of celebs who enjoy poker. - Dennis Haskins (principal Richard Belding from Saved by the Bell) - Carrot Top - Mila Corsunova (Model) - Tiffany Michelle - Maria Ho (amazing race) - Rob Iler (sopranos) - Antonio Esfandiari - David Chickotsy - Lou Diamond Phillips (La Bamba, Young Guns) - Lon McEachern (ESPN sports commentator WSOP) - Cheryl Hines (curb your enthusiasm) - Quin Ceanera (Host of the X-Games) - Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson) - Sara Underwood (Playmate of the year "07) - I am sure I forgot plenty... It was awesome times and good to see everyone getting together for this charity (cancer) Sebastian http://www.oursupportpage.com/dutch/red_carpet/20.jpg |
It is interesting to see famous people.
|
I didn't care so much for the celeb factor, what I enjoyed was the fact that everyone there loves poker ( I am a pokernut) and they all shared the same interest in the charity, and having real conversations with these people... good times.
|
How does one get into these events?
|
I almost smelled Britney Spears feet one time.
|
Sounds a good time although I'm not sure I'd of recognised any of the 'celebs'.

They're like real people only better. |
That was not exactly an A list. More like a Dead? or Alive? list.

I'm always pleasantly surprised to see Carrot Top pop up. Everytime I do I think, "Oh he's still alive, that's nice." He popped up twice yesterday for me. Once in this thread, and once at the end of "The Hangover" where he was doing lines of blow with the lead characters. (A real stretch I'm sure) |
Some interesting names there.Sure it was a great event.

Sharon Osbourne isnt raising money for "charity" she is raising funds for her "non profit" which of course most likely she is a "director" of which means she pays herself a salary for hosting the event and running the business LOL
even the NFL is a non profit these days, the best way to make money is using the charity angle, but its far from charity, 501s are the new corporation. ask the NFl about why you should set up your company as a non profit |

I honestly doubt the Osbournes would use "charity" to ad a couple 100K to their millions. |
Why is the ginger clenching his fist and why do his jeans come pre-wiskered?
