I've been working on a rewrite to make it work even better, but it's been slow going. I've been busy.
I've also begun work on a Chrome version, for those of you that have converted, but Chrome's extension system is vastly different and a lot more limiting.

I use it to block images and contest threads. Ignoring the trolls would take the fun out of this place.

Like it? I love it. I'm a member of several other webmaster forums and they are all really good about laying the smack down on useless posters. GFY doesn't do that unfortunately but your addon makes it so I can take out the trash myself.

I like the trolls though. They're a huge part of why I still come here. :1orglaugh

I really need to get this, I have no idea why I subject myself to fatfoo's posts daily.

Keep in mind that I initially built it as a way to ignore users completely and to hide threads you don't want to see.
But there's more to it now.

You can highlight people you like, highlight threads you like... you can even ignore/highlight by keywords that pertain to you. You can even ignore avatars and sigs so that you don't have to see some you don't want without having to turn them off completely.

Also it adds a bottom bar for easier navigation (that is optional, it can be removed in the ffvb options), it has an optional magicpaste feature which auto adds [img] tags around any jpg, gif or png you paste into a text box.
It can load the thread list into the sidebar and auto reload at regular intervals and there's a subscription option where you can have as many forums as you wish all loaded in one single tab and have them all auto reload at regular intervals of your choosing.

Stuff like that. So yes, it's core feature is the ability to ignore someone but there's so much more to it that you may be able to find useful.

Me too. I would not come to a board called Go Fuck Yourself and expect to find a lot of business here, even though it is here from time to time. Some of the trolls are entertaining.
