San Juan PR travel tips?
never been to PR but flights are dirt cheap right now, can anyone recc things to do there for a few days. i could use some r&r here
|
I rented a bike and rode around. After six months in the Caribbean and stay on 14 different islands, PR was one of my least favorite. Kite flying is a popular activity. Bring your own, you'll blend in :thumbsup

Peurto Rico is nice, but after going twice...it does not offer enough to visit again in my opinion.
Pina coladas, empanadas, and mangos, beaches are nice, water is warm, but no lifeguards, if your a tourist you will run into some beggers, dont give them money and set them straight on the 1st day...otherwise they will keep asking you for money. The food is cheap too. The nightclubs are like a fashion show of latin models (local PR girls not the tourists)...the girls down there all look hot, and not like the latin girls in the states. Also if you rent a car and get pulled over by the police...they might be looking for a handout. Also they have legal gambling at the casinos like vegas. |

Flights are cheap but gas surcharge is huge. Just bought a ticket to San Jose del Cabo for like 180, but surcharge was over 200 bucks!
Don't know what to do in PR though :( |
The surf is up this time of year so get a boogie board and head over to Rincon.
Just don't cut off the locals or you'll get flipper whipped. :winkwink: |
we did this biobay tour there at sunset that was awesome- the water glows - shit is crazy http://biobay.com

Fuck some Puerto Rican females; they aren't good for anything else, so might as well make some use of them.

I lived in PR for over a year and I was bored to death....Only good part is the West Coast which includes Rincon....Unless you're travelling with a female, there is no real reason to be there unless you're a surfer.
