your mustache is droopy Mr. Sellers.

SmellyNose 02-11-2010 02:22 PM

High protein, low carbs? Or just eating randomly for fun? What's your reasoning?

What are you eating, I've begun something similar

Breakfast: Protein Shake or eggs/ one piece of whole grain toast

Snack: apple/almonds

Lunch: multi-grain sandwich, veggies

Snack: Veggies or fruit and almonds

Dinners: chicken Breast with Salad/or raw veggies

Then Protein shake or high protein snack

this is virually identical to my daily diet plan! no bread though, no starchy high glycemic carbs for me at this point.

i plateaued on the pure diet plan which had much more carbs but much less protein, no real exercise, but i dropped 21 pounds. so now much more exercise and calories and i will ease into more carbs as my exercising ramps up and i will need the energy.

dyna mo 02-11-2010 02:37 PM

oops, so today i've had

3 eggs 1 yolk only
protein shake with udo's oil twice
salmon pattie and fresh broccoli and green beans, nuked
1/2 chicken breast and salad with homemade jalepeno dressing.

dyna mo 02-11-2010 02:40 PM

oh and i've also worked out 2x today, 2 10 minute sessions, not real agressive but i'll get a light sweat going. i have 1 more 10 minute session left to do today 1st 2 were cardio and yoga, next is full body calisthenics.

My typical day consists of:

Wake up
Coffee
Smoke
More coffee until 10 am
Tequila until 3 pm
Movie
Nap
More tequila
Feed dogs at 6 pm
Dinner for me at 7:30 pm
Crappy tv sitcoms until 9 pm
Bed

I rarely stray from that schedule.

pornguy 02-11-2010 05:14 PM

I thought it was supposed to be 6 times a day..

Just remember to have a slim fast with every meal.

Congrats :thumbsup It's difficult to keep up, but if you can do it, it's definitely worth it :2 cents:

8x per day would simply be too much of a distraction to me, but the plan is solid. When I'm trying to do this, I go for 5 or 6 meals per day, which usually gives me a full 3 hours between meals without getting hungry.
