yes i saw it, absolutely fucking horrible. He basically came around a corner at 144 kph and flew out of the track straight into a metal piller, backwards. His back must have instantly broken as it happened.

I have tickets to go watch the luge....after seeing that I may try and sell them.

They are trying to figure out a way to slow them down.that's the fastest track ever and too dangerous but they know what they are getting into.,hopefully that will be the only death on that track

I do not know who designed the course but there have been a lot of complaints and now a death! Here he is going 140+ kph caught in a still frame. So sad! R.I.P.

Wow, that is just nuts - it really looks like a bad design in the track cos he was simply flung from the large curved corner to the shallow wall and, hup, out of the track.

All of that to be .001 second faster than some other guy. They basically all cross the finish line at the same time.
