I think the first paragraph makes it quite clear;

She's just a no talent sham who took her clothes off to get noticed.

Nothing more, nothing less.

I think the world thought she was going to be a one hit wonder. Even I did when she performed at my club in LA with Akon over a year ago.

Sounds to me like that first paragraph was about all you managed.

saw her oprah interview with youtube...theres something seriously bi-polar about her. i think she took an awful lot of shit getting her fame. But no question she is a genius.

she's got plenty of talent. great vocalist.

Its not just her, She works with a big team and treats it like a business. Very smart.

shes a good vocalist but i hate her music. there is nothing original about it besides the sideshow she puts on that gets her all the attention in the first place. its too bad people don't get attention for pure talent.

I'm not sure why any of this is considered new. It has been the story of fame for years, if not decades. If you do outrageous stuff you get talked about and get tons of free press. The more outrageous you are the more press you get and the more interest people will have in you.

While her music isn't something I am overly into I admit she can sing, she is talented and she has a vision for what she wants. She has created a character and is playing it out to the fullest. She is basically doing what Bowie did in the 70's and Madonna did in the 80's only now with the internet she is able to get 10 times the press they were and word travels faster.

Is it a social media masterpiece? Maybe. It could just be dumb luck too. The public is fickle. In her case they embraced her, but there was just as good of chance they would have ignored her.

Just goes to show, regardless of how well you sing, the way to get noticed is to win American Idol or get as close to naked as possible. And naturally pop is now filled with female solo artists because they look better semi-naked.

Not that Lady Gaga sings badly, but she's not even close to elite in singing abilities.
