IE8 and clicking javascript links on gfy, what settings to change?

I've got IE8 and i can't seem to click javascript links on gfy for example "subscribe to this thread" "view public profile" etc I can click them but nothing happens. i'm guessing its a setting in internet explorer anyone got any idea what i need to change?

thanks for the reply, yes i know it's there i wasn't sure which setting i needed to change to allow for what i want without leaving IE too insecure.
