Being bashed for the past, finally comes home to roost with dividends
That's right.
All my life I've been told how much I fucked up for having a child at 16. How it fucked my whole life.... how it was wrong.... how I should be the poster boy for "what not to do"..... well my kid is now 26, and an engineering genius. He's created his own unique designs for several auto parts, patent pending, and is ready to support "dear old dad" long beyond death. Experience includes unique engineering (metal) designs for the Superbowl and NASA. You can keep submitting galleries. I have intelligent progeny. Family trumps "pimp" every time. Disclaimer: I apologize up front for being obnoxious. I'm proud of my son. And I've had way too much Valentines champagne today. :2 cents: |
Right on man that rocks you should be proud

Congrats on having not raised a failure?

|
And proud you should be! My eldest just graduated top of his year in advanced science (invitation degree only).

My son is better then yours...
In all seriousness it's nice to see you back posting Amp... and congrats on passing some good genes on to your kin :) Sounds like a smart guy. |
:thumbsup
My Mom did the opposite of what every parenting book suggested and I came out just fine. Parenting comes down to building character. The technique used doesn't really matter. If you're a strong person, you'll raise a strong child, even if the odds are stacked against you. (I probably won't have kids for another 10-15 to test that theory -- I'm going to be the 70 y/o attending their kids graduation kind of Dad) |
aw shut up.

Awesome, now maybe he can support you instead of your girlfriend.
