District 9 was simply fookin' awesome!

Avatar, hands down.

Next would be Zombieland and The Hangover, two of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

What are you trippin'? Avatar is a movie of 2010, not 2009.

Best movie of 2009 - "Miss March" - it also includes appearance with Hugh Heffner and Playboy Mansion.

I was given Star Trek for christmas and watched it, it was enjoyable. Havent seen the rest.

it was a pretty bad year for movies when you think about it.

District 9 for me but I haven't seen Hurt Locker yet. I have the DVD here but have to actually take the time to sit down and watch it.

Avatar was great. I wouldn't be surprised if it wins the Oscar. James Cameron was already a "made man" after Titanic. This movie, despite the sappy story, lifts him up higher on the cinematic pantheon than he already is.

I liked Slumdog Millionaire.

I fucking hated it, and i'm a huge Terminator fan. That was my biggest disappointment of the year probably... :2 cents:

"Sin Nombre" means "without a name" is a shocking movie :thumbsup

Terminator salvation was a good movie, you have to admit it was 100 times better than T3... must I remind you of the joke sunglasses at the beginning! that was a bit embarrassing, at least T4 went serious again.
