Needed SiteDepth Guru

I tried contacting their support all last week and weekend. New owners. Same bad service.

I am moving the script to a new server, and just need someone who knows the back end. The domain paths need to be changed. If you can do this, please hit me up ASAP.

Thanks.

Did you ask your host?

czarina 02-16-2010 06:49 AM

isn't Omar around anymore?

stickyfingerz 02-16-2010 07:00 AM

I believe the only ones that can move it to a new server will be sitedepth due to the license file. Did you try Rico directly?

Klen 02-16-2010 07:11 AM

Well,if you dont find anyone,i can do it, it's no more then 5 minute job.And last time when i moved it there was no need for any new licence file, only to change locations.

Yep. They can't/won't do it.

The score card is:

Host: No dice.
SD support: No dice.

Which is funny. Since SD is now planning to charge an annual "support" fee starting mid March. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Yes.

I have submitted numerous support tickets over the last full week, and weekend. I also tried ICQ. The same ICQ where, in fact, I could always reach people prior weeks to ask about this issue. That is the same ICQ Omar handed over to them.

Short answer: Yes.

I do not have any contact info for you.

Please hit me up so I can send you an email with server info?

In more ways than one. Thanks for reminding me to email him again about paying me back my damn money.

andrej_NDC 02-16-2010 09:25 AM

When you move to a new host, always ask them to use the exact same paths.

Paths have changed.

Otherwise, yes.

I think the host can still change the paths(to copy the old server), even if you use the server already, but not 100% sure about that.

They said, "No they can't".

So, whether the host is too lazy, does not know how to, does not want to... I need a third party who can do this. Hence the post for a simple fix.

Good luck with the SiteDepth Guru.

tpimp 02-16-2010 04:47 PM

I added you to ICQ to see if I could help. I really can't guarantee anything because it will depend on what you need and whether you are using the Zend locked version or the full source.
