ePassporte Scheduled Maintenance

On Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 at 9:00PM PST(Thursday February 18th 0500 GMT), ePassporte will be conducting scheduled system maintenance.
During this time, you may continue to use your ePassporte Visa Virtual and Electron Cards for purchases or ATM withdrawals, however, various website functionality may be unavailable for several hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hello, I know epassporte users can cash out their money using the epassporte plastic card through any ATM machine.

I wanted to ask a question.

Is it possible to transfer money from epassporte to a bank account (like chequing / saving) online (without going to ATM)?

Thanks for the heads-up!

Still expect someone that uses Epass as their main "bank" to complain about not being able to see their $9.87 in their epass. :1orglaugh

yes, it's possible.
epass will give you a withdrawal limit, i.e. $600.00, per day (or period of time) that u can transfer to your bank account.

Its only possible to a US bank account for a $3 fee, for bank accounts in other countries its via Wire transfer for a $50 fee.

That's the thing... $50 Wire transfer to countries outside US... Quite expensive.

I like the option of taking out cash from any ATM with the plastic card - cheap and convenient.

ya but if you have to withdraw $10k at 500$/day limit and pay $3 fees each time, that's 20x3=$60in fees... what if you got 30-40g's in there, then it's cheaper to pay $50 instead of 300+

Michael, thanks for the heads up and thanks for not assuming that everyone in the world knows what "PST" is. Can I make a further suggestion, specify how many hours in advance it is? That way people can check the time of your post (if their CP is configured correctly it will show local time) and figure it out. Would have been about +20 hours in this case?

Farang 02-18-2010 04:10 AM

I love epass
