Just got my new magic mouse!

Just like the title says I just got my new magic mouse, picked up a wireless keyboard too.

Mouse is a lot heavier than I expected. Took me 2 seconds to install. Keyboard is great too, I am laying in bed typing from across the room.

God, I love Macs!

Any other Mac peripherals I should look into?

well, I got mine 2nd week of December, and I just replaced the batteries this evening.

Used daily for many many hours....

To me, that doesn't seem unreasonable.

Keyboard still not changed - same timeframe.
:2 cents:

too bad the batteries in wireless mice don't last as long as wireless keyboards. Wireless keyboards go forever.

BestXXXPorn 02-17-2010 05:09 PM

Lifting your finger every time you want to click is way too much of an inconvenience for me to pick one of those up :P

theCono 02-17-2010 05:19 PM

LOL my son is a gamer, I buy batteries by the thousands around here, 2 more a month isn't that big of a deal, believe me...

Maybe that will be my next buy, stock in a battery company!

You should look into getting the iPC.

Well done. I'm about to go pick up a mac mini and looking forward to using this mouse for the first time.

I'm a corded mouse kinda guy. I know that I'm never gonna run out of battery life and I always got the best connection possible for accuracy. HOWEVER, I always sit right in front of my desk or laptop, so I also have no real need for cordless.

Be prepared when i said the mouse is a lot heavier than I expected i really meant it weighed a lot, takes a little getting used to. It is also a lot thinner, maybe 3/4 of an inch high. My son asked me earlier why I was limp wristing the mouse and then he tried it, it is so thin you really ave to change your angles, comfy as hell though.

Yes, I agree wirless absolutely sucks for intensive photo editing. You are fucked when the battery dies on you in the middle of a precise cut out. :(

cam_girls 02-17-2010 10:34 PM

I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard today, mouse is great after 2 months using a touch pad. Bought a cheap color laser printer too.

John-ACWM 02-18-2010 06:47 AM
