I don't use wordpress, it's bloated, i'm working a new project that will blow it out the water.

TextPattern already exists. It's code is also crap, but less so.

Just had a look at that and the admin area still needs a ton of work as its very basic atm Def gonna keep my eye on it though ..thanks

What update are you talking about? 2.9.2? Cause that's a few days old.

It's not designed for the same thing. You can extend it quite a bit more - and out of the gate, you can make it do/look like anything, rewrite your own URLs, etc.

It's basically WordPress if you know what you're doing.

It took me a while to get used to wordpress but Im no guru with it and I guess its because Im so used to the wordpress admin looking at that admin area just seemed basic, But I do understand what you are saying and for somebody who knows wordpress inside out I guess its godsend.

and if you sell 10 copies a week for a month, for a whole year you will be rich.

Stop complaining about the updates. It's not a mandatory update, and if you decided to do it anyway it takes one-click and about a minute to finish.

Had all of mine updated last night after finding one site that had an exploit in it. Thanks to Mojohost for all their help :)

I do that last one fucked my Vegas program.
