A little help? ePassporte? Scam?

I am a new content provider, (site coming soon - which i will post on here) and I am attempting to sell to a website that told me they only purchase content over epassporte. So I figure ok ill sign up since ive seen epassporte used on other adult sites etc etc.

Only problem is I do a little searching online as it seems weird they require an initial deposit even to accept money? That is weird. So on the internet there are TONS of people saying their accounts are permanently frozen, money stolen etc etc.

I am a bit scared to sign up now, so any thoughts about the legitimacy of epassporte would be appreciated. Really I am only going to use it to accept money and then transfer it to my bank account, just like I use paypal.

The thing about paypal is somebody can make a payment, and then after a few days they can reverse the payment. They can make up some ridiculous reason like, "shipped product was not received" or something like that.

With epassporte, if someone sends you money they can't really reverse the payment. That's a good thing.

The scams you gotta watch for can happen with any payment method:
- Basicly the scam can happen when you pay someone some money, but the person does not provide you with the service.

Good luck.

Well basically, I am only using it for accepting payment for adult content im providing. I am not worried so much about an individual scammer but the actual company being a scam. They aren't located in the US or Europe and if you do a quick google search there are many people who say their accounts were frozen for months and then just closed without the balance being sent to them etc. etc.

Have you guys been using it without issue?

i dont think epass is scam,
if u search for paypal scam , u ll also get more results, this doesnt means paypal is doing fraud.

but if they freeze ur acccount, then u dont have any option i guess.

Well I signed up, called them and they said business accounts need less money to load and I didn't go for the stupid card with the annual fee. If my identity or money gets stolen I know who to come after! J/P lol

If you're being an idiot with your account and the way you handle things, I don't doubt that they would freeze your account. People like that give these companies like Epass a bad name. I'll bet you that you can do a search for the most prestigious company in the world, and some dickwad would have something negative to say about it.

One of the guys from Epass is here a lot... MichaelO or something like that.

I am the next to say Epass is a good system.

If you're only using it to accept payments then Epass is way better than Paypal. When someone sends you the funds they can't go and try to get them back. Now on the other hand if you are buying goods - be careful. Don't send epassporte money to someone you don't know cause if they take the money and run - you won't ever see it again/

i have been using epass and i have no problems with them.. they give you instant solutions for your problems .. try adding one of their support ppl on ur icq.. they are fine :)
